In 2015, my grandfather passed away unexpectedly. Before he died, my family had asked me to use my gift of storytelling to interview him and write a first hand account of his life and story from his own perspective.
Our hope was to document his life story in the form of a book. We wanted his memories and experiences to not just be passed down orally from his children and those who knew him well but to have a physical and tangible representation of his legacy to be shared with our family for generations to come.
But when he died, those stories went with him. I decided to launch Telling More Stories so that other families don’t miss the opportunity to hear and know their own loved ones’ stories.
I want to tell the stories of the people in your life who matter most - to tell your stories.
